Title I Reading Credential
All coursework leading to the credential is offered online.
- Hold a valid North Dakota educator’s professional license.
- Have a major, or endorsement, in elementary education.
- Complete the following courses:

- Complete a minimum of eight semester hours in no fewer than three courses. The coursework must consist of no more than two classes from each of the following areas:

To obtain a reading credential, students apply to the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction after graduation and attainment of their initial North Dakota license for elementary teaching.
